Many of you have asked, "where are you?"and why I'm not posting to our blog on a regular basis anymore. Well the picture above....that's where I have been. This is the view from my new make shift office. Let me just tell you it’s been a crazy couple of months. I am recently engaged to the most wonderful man! Because I live in the city and he lives an hour South of the city we knew I was going to be moving. So as soon as Spring hit we placed my house on the market. At the time we had an idea of where we would start our life together but did not plan to look for a house until mine sold.
That’s when our plan changed. Shawn accepted a great job even further away from my house and had to find a place to stay close to work and quick! We were approached by his family with the opportunity to purchase the “old family dairy farm”. So needless to say Shawn moved in 2 weeks later. I now spend a few days in the city and the rest of the week at the farm!
This new homestead is kind of out in the middle of now where so internet has been an issue! For the last 2 months I have paid close to 100.00 a month for high speed access. I pay by the MG which means that uploading pictures is something I have to watch. Little higher than the $15.00 monthly charge I am used to paying. YIKES! I am starting to get into a routine that seems to work well. I spend one morning a week at Panera using their internet and drinking there OH SO YUMMY coffee. In the coming weeks I hope to start posting weekly pictures again.
