The view from my side

Last summer when I decided I wanted to make etsy a form of income rather than a hobby I set up shop at the kitchen table. At the time I had a roommate and didn’t have any other space to craft in. It was rather annoying for several reasons. I was so enthralled with my projects I was responding with one word answers to all conversations. As I began to gain a customer base we all quickly realized crafting at the dinner table at all hours of the day was not going to work any longer. Although we still managed to eat dinner at the table I was crafting at, every night, it had to change.




So bye bye roommate and hello office. What was once a dark nasty basement is now where we spend 90% of our time. I can work on anything my little heart desires and not have to pick up the mess each night. The kids come and sit with me and have even come to love crafting. I look forward to the days they are at our house because I can honestly say, with a little direction, they are very good at putting orders together for me. It’s nice to be able to share what I have learned with them. If only it was always as clean as these pictures. Haha



As I sit here today thinking about how bad I need to clean my office, these pictures are a good form of modivation to get it done!
